This Refund & Returns Policy (“Policy”) applies to all products purchased from Geloof Gear, including:
• Geloof Anoint (Facial & Beard Oils)
• Geloof Pillar (Car Diffusers)
• Geloof Ark (Woodwork)
• Geloof Mantle (Garments)
By placing an order with Geloof Gear, you agree to this Policy.
Return Eligibility (Change of Mind)
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, change-of-mind returns are subject to the conditions below:
• Requests must be made within 7 calendar days of delivery
• Delivery confirmation (OTP or courier proof) is required as proof of receipt
• Items must be returned unused, in original condition, with all packaging and tags intact
• Products showing signs of wear, use, alteration, or damage after delivery will not be eligible
Change of Mind Exclusions
Certain products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns once opened, used, or unsealed:
Geloof Anoint (Oils)
• Once opened or used, returns are not accepted for hygiene reasons
Geloof Pillar (Car Diffusers)
• Once unsealed or used, returns are not accepted due to liquid exposure
Geloof Ark (Woodwork)
• Custom, distressed, or limited-drop items may not be eligible for return.
Geloof Mantle (Garments)
• Caps and beanies (one-size items) are not eligible for change-of-mind return
• Garments with sizing variations may be exchanged only if unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
Damaged or Defective Products
All products are inspected before dispatch. If your order arrives damaged or defective:
• Report within 48 hours of delivery for transit damage
• Report within 7 days for manufacturing defects
You must provide:
• Clear photos of the product
• Packaging condition
• Delivery proof (OTP or courier confirmation)
Resolution Options (at our discretion)
• Replacement of the same product (if available)
• Store credit
• Refund to original payment method
Geloof Gear reserves the right to inspect items before approving any resolution.
Limited Edition & Drop Products
• Limited edition, seasonal, or one-of-a-kind items may have specific return conditions stated on the product page
• Where replacement stock is unavailable, store credit or alternative resolution may be offered
Shipping & Return Costs
• Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the customer’s responsibility
• Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item is defective or incorrectly supplied
• For approved defective or damaged items, Geloof Gear may arrange collection or cover reasonable return shipping costs
Order Process & Timeframes
• Return requests must be submitted to info@geloofgear.co.za
with order details and photos (if applicable)
• Response time: 2–3 business days
• Approved refunds or credits are processed within 5–10 business days after inspection
• Refunds are issued via the original PayFast payment method where possible
Product Care & Responsibility
Refunds or replacements will not be granted where damage results from:
• Misuse or improper handling
• Exposure to heat, flame, or excessive sunlight (diffusers)
• Water damage or dishwasher use (woodwork)
• Improper washing or garment care
• Alteration or modification of product
Inspection & Final Decisions
Geloof Gear reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds where:
• Items are returned outside the allowed timeframe
• Products are not in original condition
• Damage occurred after delivery due to misuse
• Packaging, tags, or components are missing
• Items are marked as non-returnable (limited or excluded products)
All decisions are made in line with this Policy and applicable South African consumer law.
Shipping Method
• Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on delivery location and order size
• Geloof Gear does not use flat-rate shipping
Data & Privacy
By submitting a return request, you consent to the processing of your personal information in accordance with the Geloof Gear Privacy & Cookie Policy. Information is used only for processing returns, refunds, or exchanges.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith. If unresolved, matters will be handled in accordance with South African Consumer Protection legislation.
Governing Law
This Refund & Returns Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Policy Updates
Geloof Gear reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
